I woke at 4:29 AM last Thursday. Had it been a decade prior, that’d’ve been exactly fifteen minutes before my alarm, and I’d’ve panicked. Oh no! I have to get up in fifteen minutes!
Today, however, I don’t have to wake that early—I get to.
I get to write, read, exercise, travel, and go to bed early—all things I previously had to force myself to do.
What do you have to do? Would reframing those haves into gets remove some of life’s stress?
